FreshWater® III High Output Ozone System
Your Hot Spring spa comes standard with the FreshWater® III high output ozone system*, an essential part of the EverFresh water care system. This system continuously injects millions of tiny, highly concentrated ozone bubbles into the water, neutralizing contaminants on contact. Unlike UV bulb or CD chip systems, it functions efficiently for years with virtually no maintenance required and is far more powerful.
The oxidation process occurs in a dedicated 10-foot contact chamber for improved mixing of ozone and minimized off-gassing. Unlike ozone systems that use a UV bulb that needs to be replaced on a regular basis (at considerable expense), our system uses a Corona Discharge cell that requires virtually no maintenance. Unlike ozone systems which turn off when you're using the jets, the FreshWater III system is at work 24 hours a day.
The FreshWater III ozone system is available as an option for all Tiger River®, Hot Spot®, and Solana® spas.
FreshWaterAg+® Continuous Silver Ion Purifier
The FreshWater Ag+ continuous silver ion purifier further reduces the need for chlorine by introducing silver ions into the spa water that inhibit  bacterial growth. Insert the cartridge into the filter of your Hot Spring spa, and the silver ions are released automatically - there's no chance of under- or overdosing. It's virtually maintenance-free - simply replace the cartridge every 3 months.
Natural Water Care Alternatives
Hot Spring spas feature environmentally-friendly water care systems that keep the water cleaner, longer.
Only Hot Spring spas offer 100% no-bypass filtration, which means that all the water passes through the filter before it enters the spa.
Patented Tri-X® filter technology uses a three-dimensional surface area to maximize filtration power that can extend the time between cleanings.
A factory-installed FreshWater® III ozone system uses highly concentrated ozone bubbles to neutralize contaminants on contact, dramatically reducing the need for harsh chemicals to keep the water clean.
An optional FreshWater Ag+® continuous silver ion purifier provides the sanitation power of silver ions for a more natural alternative to water care, so you can limit your use of chlorine and/or other chemical sanitizers.
Optional AutoFresh® water care system uses advanced technology to  dispense chlorine-free sanitizer into the spa water automatically, minimizing waste while utilizing an environmentally-friendly sanitizer.
